Our Mission

We want to honor what you’re building, take great care of your people, and help you gather meaningfully in a one-of-a-kind experience that feels just like you. It should amplify "the little things" and inspire joy for the people, places, moments, and milestones in your journey. We proudly support artists, local businesses, sustainable practices, and doing all things with purpose.

With wedding industry insight, rebellious creativity, and pretty spreadsheets, we create an authentic expression of your unique love story. We aim to put more good into the world, one incredible experience at a time.

"Keilah made the experience very personal. We talked a lot about love and marriage and futures which just got me even more excited to marry my husband."

MEET YOUR PLANNER

Hey! I'm Keilah (kay-luh)

I canceled my wedding in 2014, and walked into the alternative celebration ready to just get it over with. Somehow I walked out with a greater appreciation for what matters most, and my aim is to help others celebrate that way from the start.

In a past life, I managed private event catering, drag shows, and retirement home dining rooms. My love for hospitality began in tech theatre (and that feeling of magic when you create live art you can walk around in). You may have recently seen my work in local and national publications such as Kansas City Engaged, Voyage KC, and Boho Bride. My style is often described as earthy, bohemian, and warm.

Los Angeles native. KC transplant (and loving it). INTJ, 3w4, if you're into that sort of thing. I live in Lees Summit with my husband Brandon, our kindergartner Margot, and our cats Echo and Bagheera.

I believe the art of celebration is in embracing the magic of simple moments. I believe weddings are an opportunity to fall deeper in love and elevate what matters most throughout the rest of your lives. I believe they can make the world a better place. If that vibes with you… I vibe with you. Let's go on an adventure. ;)

"Keilah was a dream to work with from the jump. I expected her to handle the logistics and help with planning and vendor relationships. I did not expect her vision and design skills and attention to detail to make our wedding 300% cooler than it would have been otherwise. Keilah is an excellent planner but her real gift is experience design."

Q: Intimate weddings? Is there a cap?

Bespoke Socials began with micro weddings of under 50 guests (and they're still our favorite). We now plan celebrations of all sizes, though the desire for intimacy, connection, and quality time persists.

Q: Where are you located? Do you travel?

I have lived in Lees Summit, Missouri since 2021 and primarily serve the KC metro. I got my start in Iowa, however, and frequently travel back. I will happily travel around the Midwest, and I will consider 1-2 destination weddings a year.

Q: What does a wedding planner do?

Check out this article:

Q: When should I hire a wedding planner?

As soon as you're ready to start wedding planning! That way we can integrate logistics into every decision. I am typically my couples' first vendor booked.

Q. How much should I budget for my wedding?

Budget in relation to guest count is the most helpful way to understand a wedding budget. Most of my couples spend $4-800 per guest. I recommend a starting micro wedding (<40 guests) budget of $10k, and a starting intimate wedding budget (50+ guests) budget of $30k.

Inclusion Statement

Bespoke Socials proudly plans weddings for those who don't represent the false "default". Bring us your gay weddings, your interracial marriages, your spiritual commitment ceremonies, and the couples with kids. We can handle your vegan diet, your mobility aids, and your desire to support small businesses and leave little waste. Vow renewals are one of our favorite things in the world (you can celebrate your marriage whenever the hell you want). Your (offbeat) story is the default here. Can't wait to celebrate!
