The Basics

Good wedding design is thoughtful, functional, and beautiful. It creates, reflects, and elevates. It can encourage mingling, direct the eye, and create a wow factor. Design is essential to a good gathering, and a keystone element of heartfelt celebration. 

I can interpret your ideas and create concrete plans that reflect your unique style. This is a great option for couples who want to trust a pro with their big picture vision. I'll also manage the logistics of pulling it together. You can add it to any wedding planning package for a seamless planning and design process, or choose it as an a la carte option.

The Process



Phase I

You'll submit a design questionnaire, share inspiration, and describe your wedding plans. I will follow up with a selection of custom color palettes and mood boards. Once you've finalized the big picture, we meet on-site at your venue to walk through the space and map out ideas.

Big Picture

Phase II

It's time to see the first draft of your Look Book! Your custom look book expands on the initial mood board with design notes. It will break down each design element and you'll get to see several options laid out for comparison. We'll review a floor plan, florals, how your attire fits in with everything, linens, and more. You'll also get estimated costs and a break down of your rental/floral team.



Phase III

Now that you've made selections, it's time to see it all together! You'll place orders for rentals, florals, and determine final signage. We'll review the inventory list, timeline, floor plan, and team in your design folder. Finally, we'll determine a set-up and tear-down plan.


Part IV

On the day of your wedding, the design comes to life! The fine details of set-up and coordination are managed by your team. Congrats! Marriage is a beautiful thing.


Design Elements


  • Aisle with entrance or welcome area

  • Outdoor spaces count as one element

Partial design: Pick 4 design elements ($2,500)
Full design: Pick 7 design elements ($3,500)
Unlimited design elements: add $2,500 to full design


All design packages include:

  • Custom color palette and mood board

  • Custom Look Book with 2D renderings of all design elements

  • 1 venue tour

  • 3 design meetings

  • Delivery/inventory coordination

Yes! Small is subjective, but a desire for intimacy and quality time is key.

Where do you work?

I primarily work out of Kansas City, Missouri and Des Moines, Iowa. I consider the Midwest fair game!

Will you coordinate my whole wedding?

I will manage all aspects pertaining to design, but day-of coordination is still essential!
